Welcome to the Hand Knit Hound

 

The Hand Knit Hound dedicated to all the chilly (not chili) dogs out there.  I am hoping to expand the number of free patterns available to everyone who loves a dog (or cat... below you will see my cat, Simba, modeling my first sweater.

 

 

 

Spencer gives me the, "I want a sweater" look. 

Jasper wants one, too.  But he forgot for a minute while he was snuggled up in blankets.

 

Here, rather than needing a sweater to keep warm, these charming hounds are actually radiating heat to their lucky Aunt Mary.  Sweet Winnie and Cody are such thoughtful pooches.

I haven't even had time to tuck in the yarn tail, but Simba is a happy little model. 
Perhaps the next site should be the Fashionable Feline, The Hand Knit Cat, Pussy Galore Knits, Warm Knit Whiskers, Furry Feline Knits, Cozy Kitty...
